Energy-sector executive and board member with over 30 years experience across electric distribution, generation, and infrastructure transformation. Accomplished in aligning corporate strategy with national regulatory goals and international best practices, while leading major operational reform programs. Drives AI integration to enhance efficiency, grid optimization, and customer experience, delivering measurable cost reduction, stronger profitability, and increased stakeholder and investor value. Committed to national development through sector modernization and sustainable growth.
Bashar Shawwa
Chief Business Development Officer
Mr Shawwa has over 20 years of experience occupying many senior sales and business development positions in different sectors. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and has undertaken many professional courses and energy certificates such as Carbon Reduction Manager and Renewable Energy Professional, feasibility studies and project management. Prior to joining KEC, Mr Shawwa was the Sales and Business Development Department Head at United Electronics (Canon products distributors). He Also has extensive experience working in the telecommunications sector and internet industries with companies such as Orange Jordan (previously MobileCom) and Batelco. Mr Shawwa’s diverse experience is a valued asset to KEC and its prosperity
Samer R. Edris
Chief Financial Officer
Mr Edris has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Yarmouk University. He gathered great experience in accounting and taxation from public and private sectors. Prior to joining KEC, Mr Edris worked at the Income and Sales Tax Department in Jordan and at Ernst & Young, one of the biggest international consultancies. Mr Edris is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA). His advanced knowledge and over 15 years of experience in accounting, finance and tax consultancy, add great value to KEC's team.
